My name is Abigail Clapp, and I am the Communications, Projects, and Event Coordinator for the Florida Cattlemen's Association. Originally from Punta Gorda, Florida, I grew up in a household with my mother Linda, father Chris, brother Jacob, and many animals. My parents took me for horseback riding lessons when I was six years old, which eventually turned into us moving onto twenty acres so we could have horses, cattle, and other livestock in our back yard. My passion for animals drove me to join 4-H, then FFA. These organizations introduced me to leadership, public speaking, time management, teamwork, the importance of agriculture, and more. My experiences in these organizations are what led me to my degree in Agricultural Education and Communication at the University of Florida.
